At Carbex, sustainability is an integral part of how we operate and develop our business. As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact, all electricity used in our operations is sourced from 100% renewable electricity through certified suppliers.

Small and medium-sized hydropower plants are under growing pressure to deliver consistent, efficient, and cost-effective energy, often with limited resources in terms of time, personnel, and maintenance capacity.

At a paper mill in the United States, an operator had been running i-BRUSH on a large motor for over a year. During normal operation, the system began to register a gradual increase in current spikes—an early indication that conditions in the brush–ring interface were starting to change.

At Carbex, we have developed the Optimus V-Type as an in-house carbon brush holder designed to fit most common generators on the market. The design is focused on solving a fundamental challenge in generator operation: achieving consistent performance while minimizing brush wear and maintenance requirements.

At Carbex, we go beyond traditional brush manufacturing. Our in-house developed remote monitoring system, i-brush, enables real-time supervision of brush performance and wear, helping you enhance reliability, efficiency, and proactive maintenance planning.

Recently, we hosted a photo session at our headoffice in preparation for the launch of our new website. Our goal is to better showcase what defines us, our people, products, commitment and the everyday dedication that delivers value to our customers.
